  • Treasurer and legal adviser to, and honorary member of, the Medico-Chirurgical Society, Aberdeen.
  • J.P. for Aberdeenshire.

  • 1816-18 – President of the Society of Advocates
  • 1832 – Died, unmarried, 10th December,  aged 67
